We seek solutions that solve future problems today.
We started our business journey in 1969 as a family business called CAJHEN, with a small turning workshop in Laško. Over the years, the workshop grew and with the acquisition of the next generation, the company gained new momentum. With the younger generation, a new development cycle began, towards the precision sharpening of cutting tools.
In 2001, we started producing new cutting tools, which brought steep growth to the company.
Today, we are ranked among high-tech providers of precision cutting tools, successfully offering our products both domestically and internationally. Because of our broad sales program, we can offer our customers comprehensive solutions for dedicated tools.

FOR THE ENVIRONMENT
Our operations are also focused on the environment and future generations.
In the company, we believe that a clean and healthier environment contributes to a creative working environment and a positive attitude, which in turn generates new ideas and solutions for our customers.
When building our business premises with an area of 1,300 m2, we followed the latest environmental standards that provide for the use of positive environmental impacts. We placed a solar power plant on the roof, and the production is connected to a central filtration system, where we separate all the grinding dust from the cooling oil. We dry the separated dust to avoid discharging the oil into the waste and 100% recycle it when it's dried. We are also energy-efficient in the company, as we use excess heat from compressed air to air-condition our office space. With green technology FreeCooling, we provide cooling for production processes.
Throughout our successful years of operation, we are also involved in the local community, spreading our knowledge, experience, and success. The knowledge we have gained over the years of our operation is shared through:
scholarships, internships, and education for technologists,
presence in educational institutions,
donations and sponsorships of various events or associations.
In the
international Supplier Assurance evaluation
, which assesses companies' sustainability, we received an above-average rating of
B 83
in 2023.
Our company has obtained and renewed a certificate in the field of management according to the
ISO 9001:2015 standard.
We are a specialized manufacturer of cutting tools made of carbide and super-hard materials PKD, CBN, and MCD.
Our company specializes in the production of high-precision rotary premium cutting tools used on numerically controlled machines. We have been present on the Slovenian market for more than 25 years and are the leaders in this part of Europe.
Approximately 2/3 of our production remains on the domestic market. Our customers are tool shops, automotive and aviation industries, foundries, and other companies with large-scale production. One-third of our production is intended for foreign markets.
Our team, with rich knowledge and experience, consists of 30 employees.
